My Recent book is 'The Cut Off Road':
"A bus tour is stranded by rising floodwater in the outback, and there's just one road out of town. All they needed was a murder."
For police officer Brandon Wallis, it was supposed to be the trip of a lifetime with his new wife Rhianna. They embark on a tour of Australia, and when they join a bus group, flood water cuts them off in a remote outback town with a population of eleven. The group has to squeeze into the small motel under the new management of a stary-eyed city couple with big ideas and that’s about it.
Tragically one of the tour group members is found floating dead in the flooded river.
Is it an accident or calculated cold-blooded murder?
The torrential rain doesn't stop, and it appears that it will be weeks, rather than days before they can leave town on the only road out.
Friendships fray, personal tensions mount up and Brandon’s honeymoon is put on hold. Maybe indefinitely...
